  • British comedian Steve Legg dies, gospel-focused entertainer was “the best of men”

    A personal tribute has been paid to one of England’s most beloved Christian comedians Steve Legg after he died last night (Sept. 16), following a brave battle against cancer lasting 17 months. Legg died at the age of 57 in the company of his beloved wife Bekah and family at Worthing Hospital, in the south coast town of Worthing in West Sussex, England. The couple have five daughters, one son and one granddaughter.

  • England & Wales census figures for transgender population likely overstated due to language issue

    The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has confirmed that the 2021 census may have overestimated the number of transgender individuals in the UK because of some respondents misunderstanding the question, the BBC reports. The census indicated that approximately one in 200 people aged over 16 identified as a different gender from their sex at birth. However, a subsequent review revealed that individuals who do not speak fluent English might have misinterpreted the census question and incorrectly
